Jenny Clarke and Herve Semukunzi

Dr Jenny Clarke and Herve Semukunzi discuss a study they and colleagues recently published with us  titled ‘Infection- and vaccine-induced mpox antibodies: validation of a combined mpox IgG ELISA during the clade 1b outbreak in Rwanda’. 

They also discuss the reasons for the paucity of validated serological assays for mpox, particularly in outbreak regions where they are most urgently needed.
